Summary
Cream corded silk figured with satin stripe and pattern of flowers and spots, brocaded with sprays of flowers and foliage chiefly in pinks and greens. Bodice lined with cream linen. Neckline cut out in wide square front and wedge shape back, edged in cream silk braid. CF edges boned, also boned and lacing through nine pairs of eyelet holes. All seams at back lightly boned, deeply pointed at centre lower edge. Narrow shoulder strap with sleeves. Skirt open down CF. Pocket in right front. Linen tape loop in centre of each side back section on inside. Hem dipping to back, pieced together with three insets at each side front. Pocket, dress preservers, neck and cuff frills and three pink satin bows removed. Seaprate skirt section. 22cm at each front side. Pleated.
