Summary

White twilled wool trimmed with cream quilted satin and white swansdown. Bodice lined with white silk, high round neck with standing collat faced with satin, fastening centre back with narrow white silk ribbon lacing. Princess style with quilted front panel. Collar and panel with white swansdown bands. Long narrow sleeves, gathering at elbow. Upper sleeve slashed, piped and filled with satin. Bust improvers. Back bodice continued to form back skirt elaborately puffed. Lower train. Fullness held with ties. Skirt edged with swansdown between pleated frills.
