Summary

Public: Two circular dinner plates with six-lobed wavy rim. Made of cream coloured earthenware and transfer-printed in overglaze in black with a central rural landscape. The rim is printed with six festoons of fruit and flowers suspended from a border band. Private: Circular dinner plate with deep well, six-lobed wavy 'Royal' rim and no footring. Transfer-printed in overglaze black with central rural landscape, comprising family group of peasants before small hut and gnarled tree on riverbank in foreground to right, three fishermen draggging in nets from water in foreground to left, windmill in centre background. Rim printed with six festoons of fruit and flowers, suspended from painted black enamel border band. Cream coloured earthenware body with fine glaze, slightly greenish on one plate.
