Summary

Public: Fluted oval sauce boat with moulded acanthus and scrollwork decoration, on four-lobed stand. Plain cream coloured earthenware. Private: Oval sauce boat with projecting lip, curving in to flat foot with rolled rim. Alternating inward and outward fluted sides with relief-moulded scrolling fronds to shaped rim. Ribbed strap loop handle with acanthus moulded lower terminal and applied acanthus relief to thumbrest. Cream coloured body with finely crazed yellowish glaze. Oval four-lobed stand with plain sloping rim, no footring. Pale cream coloured body, with bluish-green glaze crazed in fine parallel lines.
