Summary
Child's dress. White muslin embroidered. Wide neck with narrow band trimmed with embroidered net. Bodice in one section. CF trimmed with vertical openwork embroidered insertion, another each side meeting it at CF waist. Back fastening with drawstring at neck and narrow waistband, pearl button and buttonhole between. Short sleeves in one bias section, gathered to shoulder and slightly gathered to narrow band with embroidered net frill. Bodice and sleeves embroidered in trellis and sprig design in white cotton worked in chain stitch and openwork. Skirt in one width gathered to bodice. Two bands of floral embroidery worked in chain stitch alternating with two groups of three tucks. Band of embroidery at hem, bodice made from earlier material.
