Summary

Pink silk satin lined with paler pink plain weave rayon. Kimono style. Collar band extends down front on both sides to hip level. Body and sleeves embroidered with large scattered motifs in coarse satin stitch, worked in polychrome silks, including birds, butterflies, flowers and a Cupid. Belt carriers at each side waist. Separate sash of satin faced with rayon, each end worked with a floral motif.
