Summary

Public: Two medallions, stoneware, solid white jasper with blue dip and white relief portraits of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Private: Two oval medallions with white relief portraits against a blue dip ground, one a left side profile portrait of George Washington, the other a right side profile of Benjamin Franklin. Franklin medallion faded white on back, Washington blue on back. Two firing holes on back of each piece. Gilt oval frames engraved with flowers and foliate border, with convex glass plates.
