Public: Teabowl and saucer made of soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed overglaze in black with Dutch inspired landscape scenes. Private: Teabowl : slightly tapered footring, flaring to everted rim. Transfer-printed overglaze, black. The Old Dutch Inn, exterior, depicts riverside scene. Foreground; right, plinth surmouted with vase spouts water into river, left, man stands next to barrel. Background right; inn, steps lead left, at top man stands drinking, arch basement window, circular symbol hangs from pole, left, thatched lean-to covering barrels, ladder propped at rear. Distant left; track leads to buildings. Set in wooded rural landscape. Landscape with Tower shows distant right round tower and buildings. Foreground fence flanked by trees, foliage, rural landscape. Interior, shows windmill, buildings and trees. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim. Saucer : tapered footring, flares to shallow form, slightly everted rim. Transfer-printed overglaze, black. The Windmill, depicts riverside scene. Windmill and building, right. Man and dog centre, two men by riverbank. Tall ruin with arched doorway, globe surmounting plinth, round tower and buildings, overshadowing tree, to left. Fence and foliage foreground. Buildings on middle-ground river island.
