slightly tapering crown with long dent along crown and black corded ribbon band with bow on left side, turned up brim, inner band, fawn leather. inner band stamped "Woodrow and Son, by appointment to HM the King, Piccadilly, London". Worn by Mr A P Wadsworth (1891-1957; donor's father and editor of the Manchester Guardian 1944-56).
