Paul Poiret 1879 - 1944

A group of costume jewellery comprising a necklace of small black and cream beads with large pendant imitation bear claws (probably Gripoix for Paul Poiret); a jade green aigrette inlaid with imitation marcasite trim (also probably by Paul Poiret); an abalone and mother-of-pearl large foliate brooch or head ornament (possibly by Fortuny); a large gilt bar brooch set with cabochon in pink and green with an imitation peral drop; a gilt necklace with large pendant tassel terminal set with imitation turquoise and lapiz lazuli (probably by Lola Prusac); and a white metal foil-backed clear cabochon bracelet (probably by Jacques Gautier). Belonged to the private collector, BillyBoy*, the avante-garde artist, designer and art collector who has been collecting top-end couture for 40 years and who lives in Switzerland.
