plain weave silk, shot turquoise/purple. Bias cut, seamed down centre of underside, two diagonal seams across back neck; narrow at centre, widening to point each end, one wider than the other; interlined white canvas cut to shape of sewn-up tie and stopping short of points; label woven 'LIBERTY OF LONDON' and 'HAND WOVEN THAILAND SILK MADE IN ENGLAND'.
