Summary
Public: Tall narrow tower form on two feet with angular ledges, pale grey glaze, brown stoneware. Private: Tall rectangular tower with applied angular ledges standing on two feet with gap in between, pale grey speckled matt glaze with two masked bands, course brown stoneware. Thick-walled vessel with hollow rectangular opening to top, five ledges to upper half curving out from wall to pointed edges, extending around one, two or three walls. Two masked bands to below bottom ledge, narrow band above wider band, showing ceramic body through transparent underglaze. Vessel splays out from lower body to base, particularly to front and back walls, with rectangular opening between two feet. Speckled pale grey glaze with iron spots throughout, glaze scraped away to around base of feet, some scratches to glaze to left and right sides.
