Public: Part of tea service, including lidded sugar bowl, tea cup and saucer, soft paste porcelain, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, iron red, green, and yellow enamels in imitation Japanese 'Imari' pattern. Private: Large circular sugar bowl with straight sides, curved base and thick footring. Main body divided into four wide vertical panels by four narrow underglaze blue panels, each with circular reserve in white, half way down, filled with iron red and yellow enamels, to give white petalled daisy motif against red ground. White panels filled alternately with stylised chrysanthemum stems, and different flower group in red, green and yellow enamels. Horizontal band of flowers reserved on underglaze blue ground with thin red border line round bottom of body, just above footring. Domed lid with flat sloping edge, and raised cone at centre, surmounted by flat button finial. Decorated in same pattern of alternating underglaze blue and white panels with underglaze blue and red reserved floral border round conical centre. Top surface of finial painted with simple daisy motif in red enamel . Single wide teacup, with straight sides, curved base, footring and ear shaped loop handle. Same pattern of narrow blue panels and wide white panels with alternating groups of flowers in coloured enamels. Single red petalled daisy motif with yellow centre in well of cup. Single deep saucer, with sloping sides and same pattern radiating out from central circular panel, white with red and yellow daisy motif at centre.
