Summary

Public: Two tea bowls, fluted, and one barrel shaped teapot, fluted, soft paste porcelain decorated overglaze with gilt festoons. Private: Wide fluted tea bowl (24 ribs) with scalloped rim, tapering to flat base with tapering footring. Decorated on exterior with six gilt floral festoons suspended from elaborate bows. Gilt band round footring and gilt edge to rim, with gilt serrated edge border inside rim. Well of bowl decorated with spray of simple flowers in gilt. Barrel shaped fluted teapot (24 ribs), swelling slightly round the waist, with flat base and shoulder, ribbed spout and ear shaped loop handle. Decorated round body with same decoration of six festoons, gilt band round base and gilt border with serrated edge round shoulder. Spout decorated with elaborate gilt scrolls and floral motifs, handle picked out in gilt. Flat lid with fluted circular panel inset and moulded flower finial with stem and two leaves. Decorated round flat edge with gilt serrated edge border, and on fluted panel with four festoons and bows surrounding central finial. Finial picked out in gilt.
