Summary

Public: Ceramic sculpture, coarse solid white stoneware, ovoid shape, rounded interlocking form. Private: Creamy off-white stoneware body coloured by the addition of china clay, coarsely textured. Solid abstract shape has been carved, rather than modelled. Plastic, organic looped form, with one side tapering and projecting through a hole cut in the other side: like cotton being threaded through the eye of a needle. Rectangular indentation cut through the base of the sculpture.
