'Focus' coffee pot, 'Fine' shape, overglaze screen printed geometric abstract pattern. White earthenware body. Cylindrical shape based on milk churn. Lid has knob, and therefore dates from before 1966 when the 'Fine' shape was redesigned without a knob. Pattern printed in three colours: pale brown, pale blue and black. Pattern is entirely geometric and is composed of circles overlaid on squares in two different sizes. Pattern appears in three columns on each side of the body, and as a border around the rim of the lid.
