Students explored the role art and culture plays in shaping Manchester, and created personal responses. A collection of 26 posters were produced with designer Craig Oldham, which presented the students’ experiences and viewpoints on their city, and offer a visual snapshot on what they wanted to share publicly.

With the very generous support of Jack Arts (an independent creative out-of-home agency specialising in the arts and culture space), these designs were displayed throughout Manchester. This included two large billboards on Princess Street and Fairfield Road, and numerous poster sites throughout the city centre. This provided an opportunity for the students to make a statement within their city and place their art and culture in the places where they drew inspiration.
