The Grade I listed Victorian Hall is the original grand entrance to the Royal Institution. The Hall features collection works as well as plaster casts of friezes and metopes from the Parthenon/Elgin Marbles. These casts were gifted to the gallery by King George IV to commemorate the gallery’s opening in 1823. A versatile space which creates a spectacular arrival experience for any event.
Filled with natural light from the expansive skylights, and artworks from the Collection, guests will enjoy the period features of the imposing Victorian architecture. Utilise our in-house equipment to wash the space with coloured lighting, add a bar or even a twinkling dance floor, we can take care of all your event needs.
