Mrs Lister
Summary
Maria Theresa Villiers was born in 1803. She was the sister of George, 4th Earl of Clarendon. She married first in 1830 to Thomas Henry Lister, novelist and dramatist, and second in 1844 to Sir George Cornewall Lewis, Bart. statesman and author. A writer herself, she published 'The Lives of the Friends and Contemporaries of Lord Chancellor Clarendon' in 3 volumes in 1852. She died in 1865.
