Facilities

Toilets

There are multiple toilets on the ground floor. There are wheelchair-accessible toilets in the ground floor Atrium area. In addition to this, there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the first floor by Gallery 16. Our toilets are regularly cleaned and serviced throughout the day.

Changing facilities

There is a baby change cubicle in both the gendered toilet facilities adjacent to the Mosley Street entrance. Please note that buggies can be parked in the Atrium if needed as they cannot be taken into the toilets.

Cloakroom

We do not have lockers but you are welcome to carry suitcases or hand luggage with you.

Quiet Room/ Prayer Room

Please ask a member of staff on arrival if you require the use of a quite room or prayer room.

2023 marks the Gallery’s 200th anniversary and the start of a building repair programme. This will lead to better storage and physical access to safeguard the collection for the future and transform how it is experienced by visitors. This means that there may be building works in progress and some areas may be temporarily closed, but we are open and there is still much to enjoy on your visit.
