Summary

Brightly coloured and patterned upholstered armchair with adjustable back. Deep blue laminated panels to sides, front and back legs in square-section pale blue lacquered wood curving in two right angle bends to floor, resting on yellow square lacquered feet. Flat black lacquered rectangular arms with green lacquered half-cylinder handrests to front, three pale turquoise lacquered rectangular sections to back to support backrest. Deep blue laminated panels to front and back from floor to midway up legs, upholstered velvet cushion forms seat, velvet panels to below arms either side. Adjustable back comprises deep blue laminated rectangular panel to back, green lacquered cylindrical section across top,pale blue lacquered square sections to sides attaching to top of back legs near seat with swivelling motion. Rectangular foam-filled velvet cushion attaches to backrest to front with black velcro strips. Backrest supported and adjusted by stained dark brown wooden baton with plywood disc at each end, which slots in between pale turquoise rectangular sections to backs of arms. Printed velvet upholstery pattern comprises birds and flowers filled in with brightly coloured geometric patterns in lavendar, dark purple, cream, bright pink, green and deep blue, outlined in black, on red-orange background.
