Summary

White corded cotton, trimmed with black braid, with full skirt and long, fitted sleeves. Bodice fastens at centre front with eight buttons to a high round neck - the lower buttons are of black glass, the top three replacement buttons being made of pressed horn, all attached with rings and button holes and hook and loop at waistband and neckband. Skirt is gathered onto a wide waistband and fastening to LF. Sleeves, CB of bodice, skirt CF and CB and side hem are trimmed with narrow black braid in an arabesque pattern. The bodice is machine sewn; skirt is sewn by hand.
