Summary
Round, turban-type hat in navy silk, entirely covered in silk flowers. Label: "Maryse, Aix les Bains" but made for Balmain. One of two navy hats made as alternatives to be worn with mother-of-bride outfit (2001.128). Second hat recorded separately (2001.130). Worn by Mrs Leger ( a Frenchwoman) at the wedding of her daughter, Danille, in 1967.
