Black silk cuirasse bodice with long sleeves and round neck edged with black and white machine lace; decorated with bands of pleated silk down each side centre front; rows of thread covered spherical buttons decorating each edge; fastening centre front with 14 black buttons; tape tie waist band. See object number 2002.43 for later incarnation of this outfit with new bodice and altered skirt.
