Summary

Fancy black fibre braid fabric over pale pink silk satin. Lined with black plain weave silk. Circular wire at base, fabric slightly gathered up from edge to form flat brim. Remainder of crown formed into 5 large tubular pleats, bent over and caught to right front, join trimmed with black silk net rosette and bunch of black feathers. Left brim trimmed with 3 pink fabric roses built on to small semi-circular section of stiffened net, bound and wired round edge.
