Summary

Linen coif and forehead cloth, with cutwork embroidery and spangles. coif: one length of material shaped at each end and folded in half, seamed from edges half way to fold at top, hem at lower edge for drawstring (missing); cutwork in alternating lattice and eight-pointed star pattern with small squares between each line and scattered with spangles forehead cloth: triangular with small tabs at each end of long side; cut work as in coif; edged with plaited braid.
