Summary

White figured checkered cotton muslin, printed with a black mauve and black floral design. Bodice and upper sleeve lined with white cotton. Bodice fastens at the centre front with thirteen brass hooks and handworked eyes. Two long darts under the bust. Decorative band printed floral/cone deisgn edged with white lace extending from centre front waist across shoulder and crossing over at centre back waist. Long sloping shoulder with a high round neck, edged in white lace. Long pagoda sleeve with lower puffed effect. Long full skirt closely gathered onto bodice. Deep white linen pocket at right side beneath upper flounce.
