Summary

Linen collar with cut work embroidery, cut from rectangle of material. Deep rectangular opening for neck and slight shaping at front edge. Scalloped edge with border of two lines of cut work as in coif and forehead cloth on outside, one on inside edge, but with different filling for centre of stars and small squares; edged with plaited braid as in forehead cloth.
