Summary
Coat - Embroidered brown wool, lined with white silk. High V-neck with standing collar. Fastening on chest with two hooks and eyes. Seven embroidered buttons between neck and waist on right front edge. False pocket on each side with flap and three buttons. Long sleeves with turned back cuffs trimmed with three buttons. Elaborate floral embroidery mostly in shades of yellow and blue. Glazed cotton pockets each side in side back pleats. Breeches - Brown cloth and partly lined in white cotton. Lacing at CB over gusset, fastening at CF with three horn buttons and two buttons each side of front under flap, lined with white silk, fastening with two buttons on the waistband. Pocket each side fastening at the corner with small button. Long narrow pocket in waistband on right of CF. Buttons for braces back and front. Outer knee has four small embroidered button fastenings. Kneeband also has slot for buckle. Waistcoat - Cream finely ribbed silk, embroidered, lined cream cotton and white silk. Fastening at centre with nine small embroiered buttons to high neck with high standing collar. Shallow pocket with shaped flap each side of waist. Two pairs of silk tape ties at centre.
