Summary
Public: Ovoid vase, white earthenware, decorated with alternating large and small flowers in silver and copper lustre, over a lustrous orange-red glaze. Private: Ovoid vase tapering from curved shoulder to narrow foot, straight wide neck with everted rim. Decorated with a lustrous orange-red glaze, pink around shoulder and neck, turning green round foot. Painted in silver lustre with eight large flowers on curving stems rising from foot to shoulder, alternating with eight smaller bluebell sprays, each with five flowerheads in copper red with silver outlines. Each stem accompanied by two long slender leaves reaching upwards. Neck painted with alternating vertical panels of plain silver lustre, and simple leafy stems in lustre against pink glaze. Gold coloured lustre neck rim, white interior.
