Summary
Single breasted, fastening CF with four silver metal buttons. Peaked collar with rivers. Two flapped breast pockets with silver buttons. The right one with a yellow cord and silver whistle attached. The left one with a woven badge. Two flapped side pockets. Belt attached CB with silver metal clasp. Epaulettes with silver buttons and shoulder badges. Right sleeve cuff has badge of four chevrons denoting four years service. Lined in black cotton. Worn with navy skirt or trouers and beret. Also: Two armbands 1) Blue 'civil defence' 2) Beige 'shelter marshall' Two booklets 1) National Registration ID card 1943 2) C.D. warden' service 1943 Air Raid Precautions 1939
