Summary

Beige silk painted with a central scene of two birghtly coloured humming birds perched on a branch of hibiscus. reverse is lined in plain cream silk. Sticks are carved and pierced ivory with a very glossy finish. Five oval cartouches containing music, instruments and floral motifs surrounded by tracery and openwork. Similar guards. Metal rivet set with paste; gold metal loop.
