Summary
Pagoda shaped parasol with a golden-brown shot silk shade in eight sections. A woven border design of a leafy vermicular pattern in black, with floral sprigs further up the shade and at the furrule end. Japanned metal spokes (with white bone spoke-ends) and a burned white bone furrule. Lined with fine ivory silk (shattering). Shaft of cherrywood with a metal catch and two metal eyelet holes towards the handle. The holes are threaded with a brown cord loop with two tassels. Curved handle. Shade is splitting along creases.
