Summary
Very fine net dress on a satin backing. White net with black polkadots. Bodice : Fitted and boned with back fastening of eight hooks and eyes. Scooped neckline front and back decorated with two panels of black lace sewn on to represent bows. Sleeves unlined and decorated with line of black lace along seam line. Top seam of sleeve ruched with extra 'fin' of fabric along top. edged with black satin ribbon. Bow detail in lace also on bottom edge of sleeve. Skirt : White net with black polka dots over very fine white muslin. Back fastening with metal hook and eye. Made in two flaring panels. Three rows of black lace dip down into V shape at front. Eight black lace bows are spread in a row around the skirt.
