Summary

Bolero jacket, lower front edges curved and back cut in slight curve to fit crinoline. Side seams cut to flare. three quarter sleeves. Scarlet merino, lined with ivory silk. All edges at one time appear to have been bound with plain ivory silk tape (twilled). Cuffs turned under slightly, and ivory silk quilling tacked on at later date, leaving ugly raw edge. Hook and eye at front (?original). Large patch cut out of CB. Some moth damage.
