Summary

Dark blue glazed fibre plait and blue grosgrain. High, rounded crown decorated with a wide dark blue grosgrain ribbon which ends and is sewn down CB. This is decorated CF with a large silver coloured metal buckle, which is sewn down and slotted through the ribbon. The brim is quite wide, decorated round the edge by a frill made of tightly pleated grosgrain ribbon. The brim turns up CB and the inside of the brim is decorated by a huge sewn in grosgrain bow. Half lining of blue artificial silk. Strong card is sewn to each side of the lining.
