gaiters
Summary
Below knee length gaiters. fitted to shape of leg by a narrow insert between two panels. Fastens down outside leg with fourteen round brown buttons, very straongly sewn on, with much repaired buttonholes. They fasten under the instep with a buckle, and a leather-backed strap, again worn and repaired. All seams are bound with strong tape, the buttons and buttonholes backed with cotton tape. Bottom edge is bound with leather.
