Summary
Wood varnished to resemble red mahogany. Trouser press - Large rectangular board with rounded corners, standing on four short cylindrical iron feet which are attached to iron bars on the underside. Into these iron bars fit butterfly bolts which clamp the two upper boards into place. these boards, which press the creases, are joined by iron bars which appear to have been brass or copper coated. To one of these boards is tacked a bone label. Spring clips on the underside are perhaps for a carrying handle (missing). Tie press - Two round-ended wooden bars joined at each end with butterfly bolts. copper-plated carrying handle.
