Summary

Midnight blue velveteen suit. Jacket : Double breasted braided jacket, rather like a man's smoking jacket, fastening with two rows of silk covered buttons. Breast pocket on left. Blouson style waistband. Wide two button cuffson long sleeves. Cuff has been lengthened by half inch. Lined with cotton satin. Waistcoat : Single breasted waistcoat with five buttons. Round, high neckline. Breast pocket on left. Back of black cotton satin. Lined with cotton satin, cream with stripes of red, grey and green. Has been enlarged with satin side pieces with a brown striped lining. Wiatcoat fronts have four metal buttons to fasten to knickerbockers. Two black japanned buttons as back for same purpose. Knickerbockers : Openlegged knickerbockers with long four buttoned fly fastening. Four buttonholes to attach to waistcoat. Waistband lined with black cotton satin. Legs lined with striped cotton satin. Crotch lined with chamois leather.
