Summary

White muslin summer dress, figured with vertical stripe of spots and trimmed with blue ribbon. Lining of bodice forming a kind of camisole. Low neck edged with white lace with blue velvet ribbon for drawstring. Tying and fastening at centre front with eight hooks and eyelets. Linen tape at waist. Fastening centre front with four small buttons and loops. High round neck edged with white lace with velvet drawstring tying at front. Long straight sleeves tapering to wrist. Neck edge, right front panel, armhole seam and cuff trimmed with blue corded silk band with decorative ruching with circular white lace motif inbetween. Long skirt with waistband fastening with overlap on left. Slight train at back Similar to 1935.208
