Pale brown corded silk trimmed with fawn lace. Bodice lined with grey and white striped cotton satin. Skirt lined with pale brown silk. Separate bodice with pointed CF waist. Fitting lining. Fastening CF to round neck, under overlapping RF, fastening to left. Silk cut with low round neck trimmed with fawn satin ribbon, continuing over shoulders and round to CF waist. Neck also trimmed with lace frill, and filled in with lace-covered with fawn silk vest, with standing collar. Inside waistband. Whole back continues below waist to form silk-lined basque, extending down to almost knee level. Long sleeves fastening at wrist. Separate skirt, flaring towards back. Cut to form train. Fastening CB. Pocket in RB seam below waist. Hem trimmed with pleated and pinked brown and fawn silk.
