Summary

Medicine chest made of straw work marquetry on a wooden carcass. The lid is inlaid with a rural scene with people wearing 18th century costume, the sides are decorated with a formal pattern of interlacing foliage and C-scrolls. The bottom of the chest is bombe shaped. the chest contains four glass bottles but the large central compartment is empty.
