Summary

A circular box with concave sides and rounded base, plain silver mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted in colours over a print in red on the lid of classical ruins overgrown with foliage and two ships on water. Around the sides are three sprays of flowers and on the bottom two butterflies on a spray of flowers. All on a white ground.
