Summary

A cylindrical box with a deep hinged lid on a brass mount with frilled edges. Enamel on metal and painted in an all over mesh pattern in purple and black. The lid is painted with a turquoise square panel in the centre of which is a bouquet of flowers in raised enamel in a border of white dots encircled by gilt scrolls. The sides are painted with bouquets of flowers in raised enamel direct on the ground.
