Public: An oblong box with straight sides, a plain mount and a hinged lid, enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a landscape within a red scroll border, the ground around this is mottled in pastel colours and painted over with a fine pattern in red, the sides are painted with four sprays of flowers on a white ground. Private: An oblong box with straight sides, a plain mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a landscape depicting a figure in a blue cloak carrying a red sack walking along a path towards a building in the distance, within a red scroll border. The ground around this is of delicately mottled primrose, pink and blue and painted over in red with a fine pattern of tiny linked up circles and squares to create diamond patterns with dots between. The sides are painted with four sprays of flowers on a white ground. The bottom is painted with a flower.
