Public: An oblong box with splayed sides, chased mount and a hinged lid, enamel on metal and painted in the centre of the lid with a landscape within a quatrefoil shape with a spray of flowers at each corner, the sides are painted with four sprays of flowers within quatrefoil shapes with flowers at each side corner, all on a white ground. Private: An oblong box with splayed sides, rounded base, chased mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted in the centre of the lid with a crude landscape within a quatrefoil shape with yellow scroll border within a wide band of blue on a white ground, a spray of flowers is painted at each corner and another wide blue border around the edge of the lid. The sides feature four similar quatrefoil shapes painted with sprays of flowers, there is also a spray of flowers at each side corner, all on a white ground.
