Summary

An oblong box with slightly concave sides and rounded base with a patterned mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal and painted with a scene of three men towing a boat on a lake with heavy trees in the left foreground and a castle amongst trees on the right, surrounded by gilt scrolls on a white ground. The sides are painted with four extensive landscapes of fishing and hunting scenes. The bottom is painted with a floral spray in gold.
