Summary

An oval box with straight sides, plain mount and a hinged lid. Enamel on metal, the lid moulded in relief and painted in colours on a grey-green ground with a sword, a wreath of laurel, and a ribbon inscribed in red with "La Plus Belle Vous Est Due", surrounded by sprays of flowers. The sides and bottom are painted with sprays and sprigs of flowers on a white ground.
