Summary

An oblong box with splayed sides and rounded base, with a hinged lid in a chased mount. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid with a panel containing a landscape with a figure surrounded by sheep in the foreground looking at a small chapel in the centre, two ponds lay to either side. The sides are painted with five panels of sprays and individual flowers. All panels are within raised white enamel borders on a dark blue ground with trellis and dot pattern in white.
