Summary

An oval box with splayed sides, a plain brass mount and a hinged lid with a mirror inside. Enamel on metal and painted on the lid in raised white enamel with two doves pearched upon an alter with sprays of flowers at each side, above which in a golden wreath is the inscription 'Peace' in gold. The body of the box is dark blue.
